ReviRide Rental Terms & Conditions
Renter Requirements:
- You must be at least 25 years old
- You must have a major credit card in your name
- You must have a valid motorcycle rider’s licence (no learners)
Inclusions
- 800 km per daily rental
- Use of vehicle for 24 hours. Helmet
Motorcycle Familiarisation
Every rider will receive a walk-around to familiarise them with the functionality of the vehicle they’ll be riding.
Helmets (Included In Daily Rental Rate)
Helmet use is required across Australia. Use of open-face (¾) helmets is included with your rental for rider and passenger. Bring eye protection (sunglasses are fine) as there are no visors, and eye protection is required on the roads. Rental locations may offer affordable glasses for sale in their showrooms. Our locations keep a range of sizes; however, if you've found it difficult to fit into helmets due to the size and or shape of your head, we encourage you to bring your own helmet. If you’re using your own helmet, it is your responsibility to confirm that it is certified for use in Australia.
Additional Drivers
One additional driver is permitted at no extra charge. The minimum age for an additional driver is 25, and a valid motorcycle licence is required. All riders must be present to collect the motorcycle.
Maintenance Responsibility
The renter will check and monitor all motorcycle fluid levels, including the engine oil and coolant level if applicable, tyre pressure and, if applicable, chain tension and lubrication at each refuelling and report any mechanical failures immediately. The renter will only service the vehicle, repair the vehicle, or replace any part or accessory of the vehicle during the rental period with prior approval, or such actions are at the renter's risk and expense. Customers may be held responsible for mechanical damage due to negligence in motorcycle operation or failure to provide normal maintenance. Instructions and procedures for maintenance cost reimbursement are available at the pick-up location.
Fuel
Fuel costs are the renter's responsibility, and using the RON-rated fuel as required by the rental location is compulsory. Locations may require fuel receipts as confirmation. Pre-paid fuel is available at pick-up. If Pre-paid Fuel is not purchased and the motorcycle is returned with a fuel level that is less than the pick-up fuel level or an empty tank, the customer will be charged a predetermined fuel price.
Security Bond
A security deposit will be taken at pick-up as a pre-authorization on a credit card. The card must be in the renter's name. The bond amount will match the insurance excess. Please see the Insurance and Damage Reduction Addendum for more information.
Motorcycle Substitution
We don’t double-book our motorcycles, but motorcycles can sometimes become unavailable due to unforeseen issues like damages or repairs. ReviRide reserves the right to substitute the motorcycle confirmed to the renter. If ReviRide cannot provide the confirmed motorcycle, a similar or better model will be supplied. If a similar model is not available, the renter may be offered a different model and refunded for the difference. If no motorcycles are available, the customer will be fully refunded. This constitutes the maximum liability of ReviRide.
Use
I will not operate the vehicle:
(i) in Tasmania unless rented from a location in Tasmania;
(ii) on Fraser Island or north of Cooktown in Queensland;
(iii) in the Northern Territory on the road to Jim Jim Gorge and Twin Falls or north of the Oodnadatta Track; or
(iv) in any other such location or region reasonably specified by ReviRide.
- I will comply with all laws, ordinances or governmental rules and regulations relating to the use and operation of the vehicle.
- I will check and monitor all appropriate levels, including the engine oil and other fluids, coolant level if applicable, tyre pressure, and, if applicable, chain tension and lubrication, at each refuelling and report any mechanical failures to you immediately.
- I will not service, repair, or replace any part or accessory of the vehicle during the rental period without prior approval, and such actions are at my own risk and expense.
- I will keep the vehicle locked while unattended.
- In case of an accident involving the vehicle, I will notify the police and you immediately.
- If I am involved in an accident, I understand that the vehicle will not be replaced.
Reservation And Deposit
For reservations under $300, all charges must be paid for at the time of booking. Reservations over $300 are eligible to pay a minimum deposit of 20% at the time of booking. All remaining balances must be paid in full within 30 days from the day that your reservation starts (pick-up date) and are collected automatically on the dates listed on the checkout page. For a group booking that is paid by one credit or debit card, ReviRide will charge the remaining group balance to the same card used for payment at the time of booking.
If you would like to pay the remaining balance with another card, please contact us and make arrangements before the remaining balance due date. By clicking 'Book Reservation' at checkout, you give ReviRide permission to charge your card(s) 30 days before the pick-up date. You also authorise ReviRide to re-initiate any charge(s) to your card(s) that is dishonoured for any reason. If ReviRide does not receive the remaining balance prior to 30 days before the pick-up date, then ReviRide reserves the right to cancel the rental reservation and charge a cancellation fee.
Pick-Up, Return & Late Charges
Pick-Up Time of the rental motorcycle is accepted during the rental location's business hours.
Return time for the rental motorcycle is accepted during business hours at the rental location. One rental day is based on a 24-hour rental period starting from the scheduled pick-up time. No refunds are granted for early motorcycle returns.
Late Charge: A $40 per hour penalty will be assessed if the motorcycle is returned after the scheduled drop-off time.
Please note: Motorcycles must not be left at rental locations outside of business hours.
Cancellation And Refunds
Cancellations made at least 31 days before the scheduled pick-up date will receive a full refund. If you cancel within 30 days, you may be entitled to a partial refund with the amount depending on when you cancel. All refunds are received as store credit, redeemable within one year from the issuing date.
Cancelling at least 31 days before the pick-up date
A full refund will be issued as a store credit
Cancelling between 21 and 30 days before the pick-up date
A 30% cancellation fee will apply, and a partial refund will be issued as a store credit
Cancelling between 11 and 20 days before the pick-up date
A 60% cancellation fee will apply, and a partial refund will be issued as a store credit
Cancelling within 10 days before the pick-up date
A 100% cancellation fee will apply, and no refund will be issued
Please note:
If you do not show up to pick up the vehicle at the specified pickup time, you will be considered a no-show, and you are not entitled to a refund. You will be charged the full rental price.
A $25 admin fee will be applied to a reservation that is modified between 30 - 11 days before the pick-up date.
Any balances remaining after Cancellation Fees have been applied will be issued in the form of a Credit that may be redeemed within one year.
Change Policy
Changes made at least 31 days before the scheduled pick-up date will not incur any fees. If you make a change within 30 days, you may be charged a change fee with the amount depending on when you made the change and the conditions. If a refund is issued as a result of the change, it will be provided in the form of store credit, redeemable within one year from the issuing date.

Changes made within 10 days before the pick-up date
Change of dates, locations, and vehicle models:
A 30% change fee will apply.
Change of rental options or extending reservation period:
No fee*.
Please note:
*A $25 admin fee will be applied to agent-assisted reservation modifications made within 30 days before pickup. $0 for self-serviced modifications.
Weather Conditions
ReviRide cannot be held liable for any unpleasant and unsuitable weather conditions. No refunds shall be granted for such conditions.
Credits
Credits owned by an individual may only be used for reservations booked by and for that specific individual. Store credits can be used once per payment (Once during booking and multiple times during subsequent payments). Store Credits expire 1 year after the issuing date. Store credits can only be applied at locations within the same country as the original booking.
Payment Methods
ReviRide accepts Cash, VISA, Master Card, and AMEX as payment methods. The security deposit must be on a credit card in the renter's name.
Peak Season Surcharge
Peak Season surcharge is a variable charge that applies in some locations during high-demand periods.
Rallies And Event Surcharges
Event surcharge is a fee to cover a part of the shipping costs and loss of rentals during the shipping period to get motorcycles in the event location so that our riders can enjoy the event.
Booking Terms
Reservation must be paid in full to guarantee the rate and rental date.
Reservations are non-refundable. Discount rates are subject to blackout dates and availability. All rental models and rates vary by location and season.
INSURANCE & DAMAGE REDUCTION ADDENDUM
Australia
ReviRide provides third-party legal limits of liability, property damage, and personal injury protection as required by law in various states to protect the renter and authorised riders. The foregoing coverage will be excess over any applicable insurance available to any renter or operator from any other source, whether primary, excess, secondary, or contingent in any way.
All insurance, coverage and waivers are subject to the express terms and conditions of the rental contract and do not include coverage for injury, personal property, or damage if:
(i) you are the “at fault rider”; or
(ii) the result of negligence such as illegal use or use of rental while under the influence of drugs or alcohol; or
(iii) the result of not securing the motorcycle as per ReviRide requirements.
If a rented vehicle is damaged in an accident, a police report is required if anyone is injured, suspected of being intoxicated, or if there is any evidence of criminal activity. ALL damages to rented vehicles under these circumstances without a police report are considered the renter’s fault and a breach of this agreement.
ALWAYS take photos of the accident scene and registration plate numbers of any/all involved vehicles, as well as the driver's licence of any/all involved drivers, and collect contact details (including address and phone numbers) of everyone involved. Failure to collect and provide this information constitutes a breach of this agreement.

All losses by theft must be reported to appropriate law enforcement authorities, and a copy of the filed report must be presented to the rental office; otherwise, they will not be covered. Coverage is excluded if the renter violates the Rental Agreement.
The current market value for the claimed property will be deemed reasonable and acceptable for reimbursement under this coverage.
Roadside Assistance
Roadside Assistance Coverage provides towing and roadside assistance by a ReviRide-approved vendor if your motorcycle becomes inoperable. The benefits include emergency road service towing (within 25 km of occurrence), emergency fuel delivery (up to 2 litres), and jump-start services. When you purchase the Roadside Assistance Coverage, we will waive the cost of any approved tow or roadside assistance service.
